Vesta ClassThe USS Shanghai-A is a Vesta class explorer, one of the newest and most powerful ships in the fleet. Equipped with Slipstream Drive and a variety of weapons, the variant that is shown here is the "Long Range Tactical Explorer". In the case of the Shanghai-A, the vessel is modified with an expanded hangar deck.
Aerowing ShuttleA shuttle originally designed for the Intrepid Class Light Explorer, and later adapted for support positions around the Fleet. Generally used for light independent operations where a shuttle may not be appropriate, but which a runabout is not needed.
