Doctor's Orders

Posted on Thu Mar 29th, 2018 @ 8:57am by Lieutenant Marcus Anvers & Commander Karsel`lyn Lylyl-Llytherraias & Lieutenant Colonel Kachiko Bayushi

Mission: Of Persephone
Location: Sickbay
Timeline: Current

Marcus was finishing making his preperations for the trip below to the colony. He had called the Commander and the Lieutenant colonel to sickbay to meet with him. He had heard about the commanders injury but had not met them yet. He was hoping the Lieutenant colonel would agree to accompany him below as it seemed she knew the goings on better then most.

The hatch slid open to the main Sickbay where the Doctor awaited the Lieutenant Colonel. Said Lieutenant Colonel stepped in, encased in her usual yet unusual all-black uniform, the communicator, rank insignia and Type-II phaser were all likewise flat black.

The unearthly pale little woman looked up at the physician, "What can I do for you, Doc? Oh, Karsel'lyn sends her regards and has scheduled an examination with you for tomorrow afternoon. She is down in her home with her daughter, recovering still."

"Good I will see her after I arrive later this afternoon then." Marcus said nonchalantly "Colonel I was hoping you would be my guide and accompany me down to the Colony. You seem to know everyone needed and I do not." he said with a smile as he still packed his bag "Besides I think it will be fun to see the expression on Reiko's face when I give her a gift." he said.

Kachiko chuckled, "I imagine that you're right, regarding Reiko's reaction."

"As for accompanying you, certainly," Kachiko shrugged. "I'm on limited duty until you can clear me, following that Protectorate attack."

Marcus sighed "Another case file that hasn't made it to me from the colony, I am sure. Colonel consider you joining me a field test. Unless I am wrong I am sure I will find you ready to go." Marcus said lifting his bag. "We will take my shuttle down so I can bring a couple extra pieces of equipment I had replicated along with us."

"My case file is incredibly classified, Doc," Kachiko shrugged. "When we get to my physical, you will see why. Sorry. "

Marcus lead them down to the shuttlebays a cargo shuttle in the launch pad. It was not painted with the Federation colors rather it was covered in different Medical symbols from different races. "I had her commissioned as a basically mobile sickbay. I use her in extreme cases of quarantine, or when I will be planetside with inadquate medical facilities. She isn't the prettiest paint job. But she has never failed me.

Kachiko laughed, "The Captain has been pulling her hair out regarding personal small craft and here we have yet another?"

Marcus smiled "The Horizon came with me, she has helped me a great deal over the years Colonel." I say "The Captain is well aware of its presence it came full of supplies for the ship. Now we use it to bring some equipment and supplies below. Equipment I prefer not to go through the transporters."

Kachiko nodded, "That's understandable. At first there was an issue with me bringing my vessel aboard, but a quick call to Special Operations Command cleared that up. As yet, there's only one personal craft aboard that doesn't offer specific mission capabilities that weren't available before, that being Commander Lylyl-Llytherraias runabout. However, it's so decadently comfortable inside that it's been discovered to be excellent for transporting diplomats and politicians."

Kachiko shrugged, "Let me clear your flight plan with Operations so we can be on our way. As for my daughter, Reiko, she is currently at the colony Sickbay, helping their full time nurse. I don't believe that the colony has a physician on staff just yet, though I imagine that Reiko will take that up once she has finished medical school. We're intending on settling here permanently."

Marcus nodded and opened the back hatch of the shuttle a few containers in the back of the cargo shuttle it currently had 2 bio beds in the back. Marcus moved into the pilots seat. "Alright Colonel, let's get our clearance and go. We have work to do and a gift to deliver."

Kachiko started work at the console just inside the cockpit, "Alright, clearance granted, Doctor."

Marcus keyed along the controls and they lifted off. Marcus expertly guided the shuttle out of the bay and started their approach down to the colony. Wher Marcus hoped some answers awaited him. Hoped some answers for them all.
